Burlington is home to the world-renowned Royal Botanical Gardens & Holy Shakes proudly serving the best of desserts in the Popular Appleby & Dundas crossing.
* WORST * SKETCHIEST * DIRTY HOLE IN THE WALL. ABSOLUTELY + FILTHY COLD DRY FALLING APART FOOD - RUN BY “PEOPLE” WHO DO NOT EVEN SPEAK ENGLISH AND HAVE ZERO CLUE WHAT THEY ARE DOING * THIS PLACE LEGIT NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN BY FOOD SAFETY !!!
I found hair in my food. Very unhygienic and dirty. I recently made an order and found that my food was not only very old and soggy, especially with the old cilantro sprinkled on top of the fries. Worst of all, I found hair in my food when I took my first bite into my burger. I felt sick immediately and threw up everything. I don’t recommend this place at all. Everything seems so unhygienic and dirty.
I can't speak in regards to their actual meals . I bought 3 of their more basic shakes for my kids and I and it cost $40. It is way over priced for what you get. Definitely not worth it. I doubt I'll go back. Im surprised there are so many good reviews, maybe the food and not necessarily the desserts are good. A place called "holy shakes" should great shakes, basic or otherwise.
These shakes are super unique and a must try atleast once! Although it is super expensive (around $15+ after tax) for one. They also have food options to choose from. Definitely worth a visit
The best milkshake you will ever experience! Hands down! So many delicious flavors...we want to try them all! Some even have a cheesecake slice on top! Highly recommended!
Chose Holy Shakes as my cheatmeal, and it couldn't have been more worth it. Amazing food, kind staff, and great milkshakes! I recommend the kitkat cheesecake shake 10/10.
Hidden gem in Burlington!! Loved the customer service! The food was delicious and the presentation was well put together. Just loved the whole experience and would recommend their Indian fusion food and shakes.
Okay, let me tell you how this holy review came to be. The plan was simple: drive all the way from Hamilton to finally check out Chick-fil-A. You know, the hype, the buzz—whatever. But let me tell you, that place was so busy it looked like a Black Friday SALE lol
We parked somewhere in the Chick-fil-A universe and started walking. That’s when it happened the holy moment. We saw Holy Shake, and it was like a light shone down from the heavens. The angels whispered, “Forget the hype. Come here.” So, me and the girls decided to answer the holy call and check it out.
First bite into their chicken burger, and let me tell you: HOLY! This chicken burger was life-changing. It was juicy, flavorful, and honestly? Chick-fil-A? Who? Holy Shake had me rethinking my whole existence. My taste buds were singing hymns.
This place is an absolute gem. Sadly, it’s in Chick-fil-A’s shadow, but trust me, if you’re tired of waiting in Chick-fil-A’s endless line, head over to Holy Shake for an experience that’s nothing short of divine.
P.S. This isn’t a paid ad, but honestly, Holy Shake, I’ll take another chicken burger as payment maybe with a shake this time.
Paid $14 for an EXTREMELY mediocre milkshake… bought one from chick fil an across the parking lot for 1/3 of the cost, which was FAR superior, and was much more volume of milkshake. Will not be coming back.
Also just a weird mix of foods in one location, and way too big of a menu
Great place with fun Indian flavors and awesome shakes and desserts. Got butter chicken poutine, mango iced tea and a sluce of oreo cake. They brought me my food outside and I really appreciate the kind service to me. Much better than the chick fil-a across from it.
First time at this location. 2nd time at Holy Shakes. And holy shakes their food is SOOO good. Highly recommend the chicken crunch much and their fries. So many good options to choose from!
They were also very friendly and accommodating, and made a burger and fries plain for our kid.
If I could give 0 stars, I would. The food and dessert look nothing like the pictures, the place is dirty, and bad service. It is also very expensive for very small portions. The worker was hiding in the back while making the food. First time and last time coming here.
Shouting a big thank you to the staff at Holy Shakes Burlington for making my daughter's 12th bday very special, everything was simply beautiful, they were extremely accommodating. ❤️
Wasn’t a good start as the place doesn’t even open till 12 PM and the staff rolled in at 11:50 and I was told I’d have to wait 15 minutes for food. Was then given some limited choices that could be served quicker. Got a chicken burger and shake. $28! I could have eaten an entire gourmet pizza and had a beer for the same price just up the road. Food wasn’t bad but for that price and that service I won’t be going back. Also disappointed that I was told to throw the empty milkshake bottle in the garbage. Would it kill you to recycle?
Stop the press!!! You didn't know. I can't blame you I didn't as well. So now we are even. Perfect little getaway. Simple yet extraordinary Next door treasure
Store was clean and offered both indoor and outdoor seating. Staff was also extremely friendly and ready to answer any questions we had. The shakes were incredible as well! Overall, I would definitely recommend Holy Shakes to a friend!
I literally drove backwards 15mjn to grab a shake while on a road trip after seeing the pictures of their shakes. I wasn’t expecting them to look like that at time of purchase, I figured the photos featured in the store pics were professionally taken and prepared, so I was expecting something at least halfway similar.
WOW. I wish I remembered to take a picture, I got the popular Oreo holy shake and it was an exact replica of the pictures, and it was DELICIOUS. I have to say, their sister restaurant with Indian fusion food also looked delicious and me and my wife were convinced we could open a franchise in California and make absolute bank.
Honestly, I almost never leave a review, but I was so impressed with this place I thought I should share. I would highly recommend the place to anyone on the fence about checking them out. I’m seriously looking for an excuse to visit Canada just to try the other flavors.
The food here is amazing! I am obsessed with it. My favorite is the tandoori fish tacos, they are so satisfying to all of your senses. I can’t rave about them enough. Try them, you won’t be disappointed!
We were all super excited to have a cold treat here. However, after the wow factor wore off I was quite dissapointed with the actual quality and taste of the product. Two of the three kids didn't even put a dent in their $20+ milkshakes cuz they "didn't taste good." You know its a fail when one of your kids says "I would rather have gotten a cold water instead." It was an absolute mess, the cups were covered in stuff. We are all sticky and gross. Bottom line peel away the fancy topper and this milk shake is average at best. After spending 100$ on milkshakes only to throw three away this was one expensive photo op. 3 stars.
What a great find in Burlington!! We decided to come here because we had a sweet tooth craving and weren’t disappointed! We ordered the new Exotic KitKat Blend in the Brownie Caramel flavor and it was ABSOLUTELY delicious!! The blend had small bits of kitkat which really enhanced the taste and flavor. We also ordered the Bombay Chilli Frankie roll and it was cooked fresh, was spicy and the fries were delicious. Overall a great spot, and we’ll definitely be back to try different new shake flavors!
Best customer service ever! Very friendly welcoming the food is so so tasty it was the best wrap I have had in a long time and the masala fries is too good to be true So so helpful and kind staff I was surprised how nice and sweet they were!!
First time visiting this place though it was in my "want to go " list from a long time. Loved their kinder shake and fried chicken supreme. Delicious chicken. Will definitely be back for more snacks.🫶🏼
Their dishes are so appetizing ! I have visted two times at this place and to be honest, their whole menu crosses every limit of deliciousness. They never disappoint whether its about their shakes or the dishes they prepare. And the staff is so gentle and polite. Overall, they are best in the class and i recommended everyone to once pay a visit at this place 🙌
Its an awesome place for indian fast food and shakes. We tried 2 times so far and loved it so much. So impressed from hospitality as well. Thanks for your service in our area.
Totally worth it!! they have unlimited variety of shakes and food. and the staff and the owner is super nice. This was my first time visiting this location and the experience was amazing. Would definatley love to visit again.
Got the shake. Nothing bad but nothing to rave about. A tad pricey but the ingredients seem of a good quality. Food Wait time is a bit long. Might try the food items next time. Pics look good on some texmex-indian fusion.
We decided to do something different this year!! We did birthday shakes instead of cake!! What a hit!! If you haven’t tried these guys out yet plz do!! It’s our new tradition! 🙂 thanks holy shakes for making my 7 year olds day!!
Went there for the first time today and THOROUGHLY enjoyed it. Prataab was so humble, detailed and soft spoken.. he explained and gave details to everything. Food was definitely pricey but sooo good !!! Piri Piri wings, masala fries, Spicy chimichanga (burrito), butter chicken Poutine and the shakes with cake on top (SO unique) Definitely coming back !!!
