The ice cream was good but not too different from generic store brand ice cream. The deals are pretty good with a BOGO offer available. Good value for the price if you want dessert outside.
Not at all good experience this time. I used to be a regular customer but not anymore. Their new deals are pathetic. Just 2 options and $2 extra for every upgrade. They replaced paneer wrap with mix veg wrap and $2 extra for adding paneer, masala fries with regular fries and again $2 extra for upgrade, shakes only Vanilla earlier we had the option of Choc and strawberry but now again $2 for each upgrade. The taste is not the same. Even the quantity is no longer same. In the name of mix veg wrap, it just has 1 potato patty and onions, nothing else. Not worth trying.
They increased the price of all deals, now everything is upgrade or premium, you have to pay extra even for simple basic milkshakes and masala fries which were basic earlier, used to be a regular customer, never coming back now
The food was just not it. Didn’t try the desserts but the food itself wasn’t good. We got a chicken burger which tasted like straight out of a frozen box and didn’t get ANY SAUCE it was a plain burger with tons of dry cabbage not good at all would never recommend. The dumplings were okay but just overloaded with masala and the fries okay but still not good wouldn’t recommend save your money and go somewhere else.
I ordered the 'Bao Me' with Butter Paneer, which looked incredible on the menu. Unfortunately, the reality was a huge disappointment. I was given a taco shell instead of a bao bun for one of them, as the worker notified he is out of bao buns after taking my payment, and on another note what the menu called "creamy coleslaw" was just a few shreds of red cabbage. The taste was bad and the quality was poor all around. It didn't live up to the menu's promise at all. Only 1 employee working at the store which further contributed approx 30 mins. For my order, and there was no order at my time of ordering.
Tried this place out for the first time and was disappointed tbh … 1. Spent over $20 on a waffle dessert only for the toppings to be stale and have a weird taste 2. The person handling our food was absolutely disgusting, they kept rubbing their nose and fiddling with their nose & after constant request of asking them to stop doing that they wouldn’t stop. It was so disgusting, they didn’t touch our food just what our food was packaged in but that’s still so disgusting. 3. We got an ice cream scoop and there was barely any ice cream in the container … 4. The was absolute awful smell as soon as you entered .. it reeked of BO It was overall a very disappointing experience.. I really hope the owners or management do something about the guy who was playing with his nose while handling our food. Imagine if he’s doing that in front of people, what else is he doing when no one is around?
We got some banana caramel shake. For $15 (tax incl) we got chocolate ice cream (and maybe vanilla), banana, whip cream and caramel drizzle in a glass jar. There was nothing special about it. For $15 I expect every single shake to be amazing and out of this world. Unfortunately this was not our experience. Too pricey for a drink that doesn't have any protein, whey, etc. If the shake was $5, I would've considered 3-stars. I was considering trying their food during another visit but for a place that can't deliver well on a shake while having the word "shakes" in their store name, I don't believe their food will be any good either.
Located at 5651 Steeles Avenue E, Unit 6, Scarborough, Holy Shakes brings the indulgent, over‑the‑top dessert experience to Toronto's east end. Known for its rich milkshakes, cheesecake creations, fusion bites , ice creams and many more!! Highly recommended this brunch….
I want to share the wonderful experience I had with the person who was at the counter during the afternoon sorry forgot his name. He gave a great service !
Having watched a ton of reels show up from Holy Shakes while scrolling multiple apps, I had high expectations from this place.
I went there on two different days to try two different items from their menu and here’s my honest feedback:
On the first day, we had their Oreo freak shake - it came in a glass bottle packed with Oreo milkshake, oreo biscuit pieces on the bottle, one part waffle - followed by vanilla ice cream and then the second part of the waffle drizzled with chocolate sauce. I’ll admit, the presentation wasn’t as fancy as it looks online. The taste was good (very basic, but good), so I wasn’t disappointed.
The next day, I ordered their cheesecake experience - it comes with their original flavor cheesecake factory cheesecake, along with a side of ice cream and one topping. I was told there will be an extra $2 charge if you want the cone that’s shown in their pictures in the store and online.
I am a fan of the theory that looks good and tastes good so I went all in and added the cone! My total came to $20 which IMO was a lot for what little was offered.
I chose the biscoff crumb as a topping, malai ice cream, and Belgian chocolate sauce drizzled on top along with white chocolate. Honestly, the amount of biscoff crumbs they added was a joke. We felt like the cheesecake was way more sour than it should have been and decided to let the staff know to which we were told that the cheesecakes are supposed to stay good for 6 months (that could be true, but I believe the cheesecake slice we received was part of a bigger cake that had been thawed at least a few days back so it was starting to get sour), the staff was hesitant but accommodating so she replaced our cheesecake with a different one that we chose. We went for the Oreo cheesecake (not pictured), and I thought it was quite good. However, the cone added to the dish was also left open for a while I’m guessing so it had a weird taste.
The malai ice cream was amazing though.
I might not go back to this same location again and would be cautious even if I did.
Chicken Tikka roll and Loaded Mac n Cheese were terrible 1/5 Stars. Chilli Chicken Roll was decent 4/5. Wings with Peri sauce were the best 5/5. Masala Fries 5/5. Shakes were decent Mango Peach was decent and Choco Twix 4/5. Dubai Chocolate Deep Fried Donuts 3/5. Will definitely not be coming back here.
We tried some of the shakes, overall they are really good - Thick and with solid flavours. Nice and clean store. Menu offers a lot of variety. Prices are a bit on the higher end. There were only 2 staff members when we visited, so it took us about 20 min to order and receive our drinks.
Came to try this place cause I felt like ice cream. It was near lunch so I gab a wrap cause I could not get a taco. The wrap came with fries and it was good.
A family friend referred this place during our trip around.
Preferred for ice cream and shakes.
Our group had five different varieties and each was good.
Thanks to our server who well connected with each member and answered all queries and efficiently responded to numerous amendments to our order smilingly.
Only noticeable was quite hot when we entered but later it was ok. May be wide temperature variation.
Excellent shakes and ice creams and the customer service from Charmi was beyond our expectations! She was sooo amazing and kind. She helped us navigate the flavours. Neat and clean place. Great Indian flavours. MUST visit!
The service was okay. The atmosphere and ambiance was okay. The food? Well, it depends on what you want. If you're getting the burger and fries and expect the burger meat to be wrapped in the sauce, then it's not gonna be for you. The fries are okay. The portion sizes are okay. That's about all I can say about it to be honest.
Unexpected to have great food. The chicken burger was crispy and great taste. The beef burger was not that great but had curry flavor. The best of the meal were the fries wow peri fries were amazing and also the shakes made with real ice cream! The lady server (did not take name) was amazing, respectful, and made sure our meal was am experience. Thank you.
I have passed by this store several times in the past and decided to finally give it a shot. it was a delight! I didn't have a lot of expectations but the service was great and the food was amazing. I got the 20 bucks smash box and their milk shake was amazing. I would definitely go back again
I got the deal $20 for two kathi rolls, fries and two mini shakes. Fries were the best I had in Canada. Shakes were good and you could take the bottles home. Chicken Kathi and Paneer Kathi roll both were good.
Visited Holly Shakes at their Scarborough location and tried their Smash Box for 2. It came with 2 tasty kathi rolls, crispy fries, and two milkshakes. We chose the Red Velvet and Oreo Nutella shakes both were amazing! I’d highly recommend trying their Smash Box offer if you’re looking for a filling meal and some unique shake flavors.
The customer service was great too, friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. With plenty of options for shakes and burgers, I’ll definitely be back to explore more of their menu.
Forgot one thing they also have cheese cake factory cakes too 🥂 and our boy Dharmik will take care of you 🤝🏼
I had the mango lychee cheesecake shake—it was fantastic! The flavors blended perfectly, making it both refreshing and indulgent. The staff was super nice, adding to the whole experience with their friendly and welcoming attitude. Definitely a place I’d recommend to anyone craving unique and delicious shakes. Looking forward to trying more flavors!
Came here on a last minute decision instead of another ice cream place because it sounded tasty. It did not disappoint. We ordered the Blame India butter chicken crunch, the butterscotch premium exotic holy shake, and the mini freak shake in cotton candy. If you spend $30+ you get a free ice cream in waffle cone for kids, so we also were able to get a chocolate flavor for one of our kids. The Burger was delicious, it makes me want to try more on the food menu. The butterscotch shake was good but I think I would have liked if I chose a different flavor instead. All in all, I think we will come back at some point to try again.
I recently visited this ice cream place and was thoroughly impressed. The ice cream options are incredibly unique—I tried the Royal Rasmali and Chunky Funky Brownie, both of which were amazing. The atmosphere is fantastic, with a friendly staff and a clean, inviting space. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great ice cream experience!
Tried their peppermint Oreo and Mr. coffee nut milkshakes and they were really great! I wish the peppermint Oreo had more peppermint flavor. They both came with mason jars that you can keep and reuse to get 5% discount on your next purchase.
Though the shake and roll were good but it was super expensive! Imagine buying a shake for $15, I think that’s definitely expensive, but talking about taste it was good! Friendly staff ! A good place to hangout with family and friends but it might pinch your pocket. Overall nice experience!
Pretty good shakes! A great date spot and a place to get some desserts. Got the strawberry cheesecake milkshake and it was quite tasty, but VERY SWEET. The milkshake was also pretty thick too so it was a bit hard to drink with a straw. I love how the jars and bottles are reusable, but they were so sticky due to the mass amount of sugar in and around the bottles. The stickiness did come off after washing it with soap and water, but it was just a hassle bringing home a very sticky jar to wash at home. I would probably revisit again in the future to try their other shakes.
I tried their milkshakes as well as their waffles and I'm so glad I came across this spot. This is my new favorite place in Scarborough. The owner is really friendly and their customer service is excellent. The store was clean and tidy to top it all up. Keep up the good work guys.
Our first time here, we got the mango lychee shake and it was amazing! I really like the concept of the glass bottle as it is reusable and I definitely will be reusing it for something else!
The shake tasted thick and creamy, just like we expected. Would come back again soon!
These SHAKES were ex-STRAW-dinary, you’ll be BERRY satisfied afterwards! We got their Strawberry Wild Dream Cheesecake Freakshake, Hazelnut Explosion Super Freakshake, and Lotus Biscoff Waffle Up! Strawberry Wild Dream came with a Strawberry Milkshake topped with a slice of @cheesecakefactory Strawberry Cheesecake, GOSH it was almost too pretty to dig in! Hazelnut Explosion Super Freakshake came in a Chocolate Milkshake topped with Kinder Egg, Ferrero Rocher, & Bueno, as a Chocolate lover, this Shake was INSANELY good! Lotus Biscoff Waffle was also very delicious, it had crumbled Lotus Biscoff, drizzled with Salted Caramel on a crispy Waffle, it was wonderful!
The service here is amazing!! I have never received service this good in my entire life. The staff is extremely friendly and sweet just like their milkshakes !! 🥰. The food and dessert is absolutely amazinggg. Once again absolutely love the staff and service here. ❤️
The milkshakes at Holy Shakes are absolutely extravagant! We tried the following shakes: Hazelnut Explosion, Nutella Lovers, and Oreo Sweetheart. Each milkshake was carefully crafted and loaded with so much goodness! The tastes were definitely out of this world. We will definitely be back to try some more of their delicacies.
Wonderful customer service! Very flavourful and tasty food! AND amazing milkshakes!
My husband and I went there for the first time, walked away impressed and wanting more. We got the chicken tikka on the rocks and all i have to say is - delicious! To end the day, we tried the birthday cake cotton candy milkshake and the hazelnut oreo milkshake - SO GOOD!
No doubt the best milkshakes in Toronto. Not only the shakes are super creative, but the service is impeccable. As soon as you walk in you notice that the people who work there do it with love and passion! So many options to choose 🙌
Top quality milkshakes with a massive variety of toppings to add. Wait Times during the weekend can be long but definitely worth it. Staff is friendly and helpful.
So glad they opened up a location in Scarborough. Their milkshakes are amazing and really great service. Will definitely have to come back and try the other flavours.
This place serves the best exotic and freak shakes in Toronto. Apart from it, it has so many options in Indian Street food. There are many locations of Holy shakes in Toronto, but this is the best one in terms of food taste and staff behavior. I will highly recommend you to visit here.
First time here today, good customer service is hard to come by and I must say it was such a pleasant experience. My partner got a milk shake and Mango Lychee Ice Cream. The ice cream was amazing and the milkshake was super cute and tasted great. Pay them a visit!
I really enjoyed their food , everything is well prepared. The shakes were super awesome. If you are missing Indian flavours this is best place to visit. It was really great experience at this place. I really recommend to visit here!
