I visited this place with a few friends – a first time for us all – for Iftaar (March 22nd), and unfortunately, I must admit that we encountered one of the most disappointing experiences we’ve ever had. Although the ambiance is pleasant and the staff are respectful, the overall service was exceptionally poor. Despite there being only five of us, each with our own order, it took an unreasonable amount of time to place our orders—approximately 15 minutes of waiting in line, despite the place not being crowded. Furthermore, once we finally managed to convey our orders, it took an astonishing 40 minutes for the first order to reach our table. To make matters even more annoying, our orders were mistakenly handed to the wrong tables not once, not twice, but THREE times!! Instead of verifying the names or orders with the recipients, the staff blindly handed the order to whoever came up to the front. I don’t think it’s that hard to double check…
Additionally, our orders (we all got the Freak Box), were incomplete as they were missing the accompanying milkshakes, which seemed to be showing up 15-20 minutes after the food was sent. This issue seemed to extend beyond our table, as other patrons appeared to face similar discrepancies. Consequently, despite arriving as a group, we ended up eating separately, with all of our table’s orders missing components. As the food grew cold while we awaited the completion of our orders, I eventually had to settle for a random order from another table (who had originally taken our order) solely out of frustration and exhaustion from waiting. The manager's response, indicating a further delay if I insisted on my original order, was particularly upsetting. Don't know if this is a constant issue or staff can't expedite properly, but we left quite unpleased. I've never seen a more disoriented front of house and kitchen. No sense of time management, leadership, and organization. While I understand that the restaurant industry can be demanding, it's unjustifiable for patrons to pay full price, including gratuity, and receive such a subpar experience. Regrettably, none of us anticipate coming back here.
